Wow, if none of those answers are correct than I think you are looking for something deeper. I asked the wisest person I knew (my Dad) who is NOT a baseball fan, but used to coach softball. His answer was Joan Joyce who played for his team the Raybestos Brakettes at one time in the 60s. He said she topped 110 MPH. troll
