2007 Sweet Spot Replacement Denied!

I just received this letter in the mail from Upper Deck regarding the faded 2007 Sweet Spot auto of Chad Billingsley I sent in for replacement. Flipper ( my good friend and trading partner) received the same letter Friday as well. Out of the eight tins Flipper and I purchased 6 of them contained horrible faded autographs some of which bordered invisibility. If you happen to pick up a tin and pull one ( 70% chance) all you will get in return is a complimentary pack of cards. This coming from a multimillion dollar company that relies on your funding for survival.

  1. So, which pack did they send? Anything worth your trouble?

  4. That sucks. We spend all this money on product like this, and they can't go a LITTLE above and beyond to make sure we get our money's worth? I always wondered if this sort of thing would be an issue for any autos not on a card or sticker.

I've never seen one of these sigs in person, does the signature feel like it's on an actual baseball or is it just card stock?

I believe it's on synthetic leather. I also believe they used leather in the past ( an actual ball) ,and in the recent 09 release. This must have been a nightmare, but they deserve it for trying to cut corners.
