Yes I like gimmick cards. Unlike the rest of the blogsphere I happen to enjoy pulling one, and if that makes me an idiot so be it. I just don't understand what the fuss is all about? please drop a comment and educate me as to why their so bad. I do know one thing if the industry doesn't put an end to the overabundance of jersey cards, and sticker autographs its going to be the 80's all over again. Pictured above is my 2007 Topps Update Jacoby Ellsbury error gimmick card. I pulled this out of a 2.00 retail pack in 07. Unfortunately the black border made it difficult to grade, but overall this card is awesome. According to Beckett Its the only card graded this high the rest are 8.5 or lower. I love the simpleness of it no game used jersey, sticker auto, or parallel anywhere on it, and yet it has value.
