Mad Max

Here is a close up of Arizona's promising young pitcher Max Scherzer's eyes. Max is heterochromic an eye condition where one eye is a different color then the other.

Heterochromia of the eye comes in two variates. In complete heterochromia, ( like Max) one iris is a different color then the other whereas in partial heterochromia or sectoral heterochromia part of one iris is different from its remainder.

In animals one eye is usually blue. This condition is incredibly rare in humans, and is usually hereditary. How about that Max Scherezer. He has now won three straight games (5-4), and has an E.R.A of 1.46 over his last four games.
